Introduced in the late 1990s, the reference 47200 represents a refined interpretation of the classic Patrimony dress watch, combining traditional Geneva aesthetics with a practical range of indications. Its 36mm case is classically proportioned, while the guilloché silvered dial displays the time alongside a date at 2 o’clock, small seconds at 6 o’clock, and a power-reserve indicator at 10 o’clock. At its heart is the self-winding Caliber 1127, based on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Caliber 889 and subsequently reworked and finished by Vacheron Constantin. The restrained case design, slender proportions and finely executed dial remain firmly rooted in the Maison’s traditional dress-watch aesthetic. Produced in yellow, rose and white gold, the reference 47200 combines discreet elegance with useful functionality and remains particularly appealing to collectors for its classical 36 mm proportions, refined finishing and distinctive guilloché dial.
