Introduced in 1971 and remaining in production until approximately 1989, the Patek Philippe reference 3590 is an elegant ultra-thin automatic dress watch produced in both yellow and white gold. Characterized by its refined two-piece extra-flat case and the iconic Clous de Paris (hobnail) bezel, it was among the earliest Patek Philippe models to be fitted with the celebrated ultra-thin automatic caliber 28-255, based on the renowned Jaeger-LeCoultre ébauche. The present example is cased in white gold and features a clean white dial with black Roman numerals, emphasizing the model's understated elegance. Its two-piece case was manufactured by Wenger, as confirmed by the Geneva case maker's key number "1" stamped inside the case. Measuring just under 36 mm in diameter, the reference 3590 perfectly embodies Patek Philippe's discreet and timeless approach to dress watch design.
