Introduced in 2004, the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph was conceived as a more understated alternative to the celebrated Datograph, offering collectors the same exceptional chronograph engineering in a slimmer and more classical package. Measuring 39.5 mm in diameter and only 10.8 mm in thickness, the model features an elegant three-part case with alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces. Powered by the manually wound calibre L951.0, the watch incorporates a flyback chronograph, allowing the chronograph to be reset and instantly restarted with a single press of the pusher. The 1815 Chronograph can be divided into three distinct generations, with the present example belonging to the second one, introduced in 2010. Produced exclusively in pink or white gold, as is the present example, this updated series is distinguished by a cleaner dial layout, thanks to the removal of the pulsometer scale and the relocation of the signature from the outer chapter ring to the main dial. The present watch is offered as a full set with its original box and guarantee.
