The present example is a very attractive, playful variation of Lapis Lazuli Day-Date: its classic combination of rich blue lapis lazuli, diamonds and yellow gold makes this lot extremely intriguing and fascinating. It is a reference 18238 offered in very pleasing condition and complete with all documentation of the watch like its original Rolex warranty, booklets and invoices. The tonneau case of 36 mm with screw back is in full 18k yellow gold and still presents the original proportion with a precious president bracelet. It is also enhanced by the lapis lazuli dial, known for their fragile nature, are increasingly scarce to find in unharmed condition such as the present one. On the back is also present in the original Rolex sticker confirming that this watch has been worn only occasionally.
