Inspired by the legendary Patek Philippe World Time watches from the mid-20th century, such as ref. 605, the design of reference 5110 echoes masterpieces of the past combined with modern watchmaking technology. This reference was in production from 2000 until 2006 when it was replaced by reference 5130. Available in four case materials, the present lot is a very nice specimen made in pink-gold. Preserved in almost unworn conditions, it features a central silver guilloché dial, a middle ring with the 24-hour indication and divine for date/night and outer ring with the international city names giving it a dynamic and modern look with applied baton indexes. Moreover on the other side of the glass case back shows the movement but the main rarity is the Tiffany & Co signature at 12 o’clock, a feature really sought after by many collectors nowadays. The watch also comes with its original warranty confirming its sale by Tiffany on the 27th of June 2007.
