The warm gleam of white gold and the sparkle of brilliant-cut diamonds strike an endearing chord in the Little Lange 1 reference 802032 here offered. This compact 38.5 millimeters white-gold case is endowed with all of the features of a Lange 1 design icon: the exclusive manufacture caliber L901.4 with a twin mainspring barrel that delivers power for more than three days, a power-reserve indicator, and the patented outsize date. Anyway, this very lot is even rarer since it is one of the very few models ever produced by the Maison that have been embellished with 54 brilliant diamonds, making it one of the most desirable watches for the most voracious collectors. The first Lange 1 model launched by the company had a plain case back until Walter Lange realized that it was a shame to hide such an amazing hand finished movement and decided that all his future creations would be with a see-through case back and the present specimen is no exception. The slender hands in blue steel on the highly precious diamonds paved dial emphasizes the enchanting and timeless personality of this model, making it extremely desirable. Furthermore, this example is offered with its original box and warranty confirming its sale on May 25, 2005, at the historic Milanese boutique Orologeria Pisa.
