Lot 108 – Calatrava wristwatch reference 530, in 37 mm steel case with a glossy black dial and gold Breguet numerals, an exceptional timepiece from John Goldberger’s personal collection. Lot 208 – Possibly unique platinum Square Shape wristwatch from the late 1920s, featuring a center-second movement and a large, hinged case with dial displaying black enamelled “Breguet” numbers and Art-Deco decorations. Lot 36 – Patek Philippe Nautilus Jumbo reference 3700/1, possibly 1 of only 4 retailed and signed by Beyer. Supported by documentation from Patek Philippe and Beyer. Lot 271 – An extremely rare 3448/3450 fully certified by its Extract from the Archives. Lot 39 – Patek Philippe reference 3974 in yellow gold, one of only around 160 ever made in all metals, featuring the revered “JPH” inscription from master casemaker Jean-Pierre Hagmann. Lot 172 – From the original owner’s family, a Patek Philippe Reference 130 stainless steel chronograph featuring a rare three-tone silvered sector dial with enamelled Arabic numerals and signature “ASTRUA TORINO” at six o’clock. Lot 223 – Incredibly rare Patek Philippe Nautilus “Jumbo” 3700 with tropical greenish dial and Asprey signature at 6 o’clock. One of two known examples and accompanied by a Patek Philippe archive extract. Lot 44 – A stunning conditions yellow gold example reference 1518 perpetual calendar chronograph, dating 1949, with a matching period Gay Freres gold bracelet. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Lot 202 – “Saatchi Edition” 5970, created for the 2015 Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition and one of just five pieces ever made, with brown sunburst dial in as new conditions.
