Launched in 1945, the Rolex Datejust is one of the manufacture's most iconic and enduring models. Combining timeless design with technical innovation, it has remained a cornerstone of Rolex's collection for over eight decades. Introduced in 1959, the reference 1611 is distinguished by its elegant linen-textured bezel. The present example, dating to circa 1975, is cased in 18k yellow gold and fitted with its original Jubilee bracelet, whose centre links feature the same linen-textured finish as the bezel, creating a distinctive and harmonious design.
